Here’s an overview of our transition to full-time travel and our first six weeks “on the road” in photos. Between July 25th and August 8th, we moved Grace 900 miles away to her new apartment, moved Mara a few hours away to hers, and closed on the sale of our home of 19 years.
8/7: Last meal at the house. We should have left a few chairs until we were done!
8/7: House cleaned out. We really loved living here!
8/7: The camper was pretty organized until that final weekend. Then everything just had to get moved. Throw it in and sort it later.
8/12-14: The campground at Troy & Jill’s house on Lake Thunderhead (Unionville, Missouri) to celebrate Dad’s 80th.
Speedy’s daily affirmation: “I’m good enough. I’m smart enough. And doggone it, people like me!”
8/14-21: Crow’s Nest RV “Resort”, Indianola, Iowa
8/21-28: Lazy H Campground, Akron, Iowa. Cindy’s dad & step-mom joined us for a few days. This was a favorite!
